The Barcelo Bahorucco is a deluxe hotel located 17 kilometers from the Maria Montez Airport and convenient to Las Americas International Airport of Santo Domingo. Located in the enchanting Barahona Region, on the south of the country, the hotel is part of the new and different Caribbean destination. The resort is right on the beach, offering guests unlimited opportunities for relaxation and water sports. Houses in a complex of five buildings, the hotel's 105 guest rooms are spread on three different floors.

This All-Inclusive Resort features 70 standard double rooms and 45 Junior Suites. Each room is equipped with tropical style furniture in colorful design, a balcony or terrace with Ocean-view, a fully equipped private bathroom with hairdryer, air-condition, Cable TV, Telephone and a safety deposit box ($).
The 70 Standard rooms are comfortable and bright rooms with 1 King Size Bed or 2 Queen Size Beds and can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests.The 45 Junior Suites are very spacious and comfortable rooms with 1 King Size Bed or 2 Queen Size Beds and an additional sitting area with furniture and fabrics in a colorful tropical design. They also can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests.
The 105 double rooms and Junior Suites of the Resort are distributed in five 3-floor buildings in environmental-friendly design and all with Ocean-view.

Nearby Attractions:
Enriquillo Lake and Cabritos Island National Park, the largest salt water lake in the Caribbean. Its contracting terrain and climate from the lush green of the surrounding Bahoruco mountain chain to the dry ecosystem if the lake itself make this area a great retreat for nature enthusiasts. Its beautiful mountains, sulfur and sweet water ponds and wildlife including crocodiles and flamingoes are impressive.
Oviedo Lagoon- Situated in the Jaragua National park it is the home to one of the largest populations of flamingos in the country, as well to other birds such as royal herons, white-crowned pigeons and seagulls.
The Larimar Mines- The Larimar is a semiprecious turquoise colored stone, which found nowhere else in the world.
Dunes of Bani- Dunes of white sand as tall as 3 meters.
