BAHIA PRINCIPE SAN JUAN is located on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic, 70 km from Puerto Plata airport (60 minutes by car) and a comfortable distance from cities such as Cabarete and Sosia and Puerto Plata.
It was opened in July 1995 and is set on a 5-km private beach which is sheltered by a coral reef. It covers an area of over one and a half million square metres and is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation with mangrove swamps.
It has number of tropical gardens which are the setting for little lanes along which guests can walk while enjoying the sea breeze and the freshness of the natural surroundings.
Our rooms:
BAHIA PRINCIPE SAN JUAN has 941 rooms, 136 of which belong to the CLUB HACIENDA PRINCIPE. All rooms are fully-equipped standard doubles, distributed among villas which are between 20 and 150 metres from the beach.
Our spacious rooms have two beds or a double bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, fully equipped bathroom, hairdryer, cable and satellite television, direct outside telephone line, hired safe (extra charge), cots (by prior request), mini bar and balcony or terrace.
Facilities
Enjoy our facilities: two lake-type swimming pools with children's section, one of which has a Jacuzzi; an activity swimming pool and a swimming pool with children's section exclusively for Club Hacienda Principe guests. Enjoy the wide range of cuisine at any of our seven different-style restaurants: Main restaurant with international buffet; four a la carte speciality restaurants ( International Gourmet, Seafood, Italian and grill); fast food snack bar; and the exclusive restaurant for Club Hacienda Prнncipe guests with international buffet
The hotel has eleven bars: six on the beach, four in the hotel swimming pool area and an exclusive bar for Club Hacienda Prнncipe guests.
There is also a wide range of Bars and Restaurants available in the Pueblo Prнncipe for an additional charge.
Leisure and Sports
You'll be able to practice motorised and non-motorised
watersports: windsurfing, catamarans, sunfish, kayaking, boogie boards, water skiing, etc.
You'll have the opportunity to learn to dive, play tennis, football or volleyball, take bodybuilding, aerobics
and merengue classes.
