The Barcelo Bavaro Palace is the best of the 5 hotels forming the Barcelo Bavaro Beach Resort, the only hotel complex located in the Punto Cana region, in the Eastern part of the Dominican Republic.
Connected to the hotel, you will find the Barcelo Bavaro Convention Center, the most modern and fully equipped convention center in the Caribbean, where important international events such as the 12th Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and of Government have already been held.
Our rooms:
It has 522 comfortable rooms, each featuring a king-size bed or 2 double beds, a terrace or balcony, fully equipped bathroom with hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar, tea and coffee facilities, satellite TV, clock radio, telephone, safety deposit box and room service.
It also boasts 36 suites, comprised of a living room and bedroom. The bedroom features the same facilities as a double room. In addition, the living room has a sofa bed, a second TV set, telephone, minibar, safe deposit box, air conditioning and an additional, fully equipped bathroom. The bedroom and living both have a terrace or balcony.
Facilities and services
There are 5 different restaurants including the French "Chez Palace", the "Bohio" specializing in rich dishes, "La Pina" which has a wide selection of meats, fish and shellfish, "La Brisa", specializing in shelfish -including lobster- and the "Caribe", specializing in Caribbean cuisine.
You also have a choice of 5 bars where you can relax with a refreshing tropical cocktail, a cyber cafe, adult and children's pool with Jacuzzi, a playground for children, a gym, a theater, 2 boutiques, a hairdresser's and a jeweler's.
Guests have access to the rest of the facilities in the complex: 9 restaurants or grills, 11 bars, 3 discos, 2 theaters and the "Tropicalisimo" cabaret show in Plaza Dominicana.
Connected to the hotel, you will find the modern, state-of-the-art Barcelo Bavaro Convention Center with 24 event rooms with a capacity of 5,000 people

Sports and Activities
The hotel has 3 tennis courts, badminton, table tennis, French bowls, darts, volleyball and water polo.
Guests also have access to the 18-hole golf course and all the sports in the rest of the complex: soccer, 5-a-side soccer, cycling, horseback riding, shuffleboard, pool, French bowls and water sports (scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, catamaran, water skiing, boat trips and deep-sea fishing).
Entertainment
During the day you can take classes to learn merengue, a typical Caribbean dance, or join in on a variety of other games and activities. At night you can choose between three different shows as well as the renowned international cabaret show, "Tropicalissimo".
