The All-Inclusive Akumal Beach Resort is located in the heart of Riviera Maya, direct on a one kilometer white sandy beach belongs to the hotel, very safe and excellent for morning walks or jogging. Combined with the turquoise blue waters, Akumal will truly make your stay simply a dream vacation. Its fantastic location allows you visit places like Puerto Aventuras Golf Club, the natural aquarium of Xel-Ha and numerous wonderful cenotes.
Our rooms:
Relax in any of our 241 rooms with the comfort of an 4 Star Beach Front Resort, all with balcony or patio. Accommodation at the Akumal Beach Resort consist of 73 ocean and garden view rooms in 4 to two story buildings, and 168 oceanfront rooms in 3 story buildings.
Riviera Rooms - have one king size bed or two double beds, individual controlled air conditioning and ceiling fan, direct dial telephone system, satellite TV, private bathroom with shower, hot water and hair dryer and in-room safety deposit box..
Akumal Rooms - are all beach front in parallel buildings to the ocean, featuring one king size bed or two double beds, A/C and ceiling fan, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, private bathroom with shower, hot water, hair dryer and in-room safety deposit box.
Facilities
Unlike many all-inclusive newcomers, the Akumal Beach Resort has been around for over 8 years and has undergone extensive improvements and expansion under a several management companys. Currently it is under Italian management and is quite popular with European vacationers. Hence, the resort is geared more toward Europeans than Americans with a multi-lingual staff that is both European and Mexican. The facilities now include a large beach side pool, several buildings for accommodations and myriad other improvements in facilities and services. The rooms are superior Oceanfront rooms. Also offered are their standard Ocean View rooms and standard Garden View rooms. These are all fully air conditioned with either two double beds or one king size bed, a private bathroom, colorful decor, and a lovely little terrace that looks out on the magnificent Caribbean. All are very nice and comfortable.

La Trattoria- a la carte Italian restaurant: 7:30-9:30pm (reservation req.)

Theatre- show bar: 10-11pm
Main bar- 8am-2am, beach towels can be taken by using "the card".
