The Bahia Prнncipe Resort is formed by two 5 stars hotels (Tulum and Akumal) with a total of 1.440 rooms,
the commercial and entertainment center "Hacienda Doсa Isabel" and the best variety of services in the
Caribbean.
Thanks to its situation, its project and its facilities and services, the Hotel Bahнa Principe Akumal is
known in the Riviera Maya as an excelent hotel of five stars.
The resort follows patterns of sustained tourism. Walking through the property you can admire the
wonderful tropical vegetation, nice gardens and protected areas where ecology and architecure combine
perfectly.
Our rooms:
The 630 rooms of the BAHIA PRINCIPE AKUMAL are distributed between 558 junior suites ( with whirlpool
bath) and 72 double rooms, all with equipment of the five star category held by the hotel.
The rooms are in three-storey villas with 18 rooms each, very close to the beach, and most have a view of
the sea.
Our double rooms have two single beds or a king-size, air conditioning, fan on the ceiling, full bathroom
with hair dryer, satellite TV, direct telephone, safe, mini-bar and balcony or terrace.
Our junior suites have two single beds or a king-size, air conditioning, fan on the ceiling, full bathroom
with hair dryer and hydromassage, satellite TV, direct telephone, safe, mini-bar and balcony or terrace.
Facilities
Enjoy our facilities: two lake-type swimming pools with children's section, one of which has a Jacuzzi; an activity swimming pool and a swimming pool with children's section exclusively for Club Hacienda Principe guests. Three open-air jacuzzis. Large solariums with sun shades and loungers. Towel service at swimming pools and the beach. Mini-club for children. Salon-theatre, animation and night-time shows. Four tennis courts (lighting included), basketball court and football pitch, Mini-Golf, Putting Green, water sports activity centre and a fully equipped gymnasium.
Bars and Restaurants
You will enjoy a wide, varied gastronomic offer in the five restaurants in the hotel: the Main Restaurant with an international buffet; three restaurants with Italian specialities, International Gourmet and fish; and an American style snack bar with fast food 24/24.
You can also quench your thirst or try our special cocktails in the six bars around the different areas of the hotel: three on the beach, one inside the swimming pool, one in the amphitheatre or entertainment room and a lobby bar.
You also have the Bars and Restaurants in different styles of the Hacienda Dora Isabel (extra charge).
